  1. Elisabeth,Thyis is the sort of “stream of consciousness” writing to which I referred in an e-mail sent today. I thoroughly enjoyed the way you let your mind free to “ramble”. Sometimes, our truest, purest, and most eloquent thoughts come through this way.You should enjoy the August night sky. Mars will be closer to Earth than ever before in our lifetime. Also, it is a once-in-a-lifetime view for us mortals, since it will not be this close again in our, our children’s, or our grandchildren’s lives. It is a memory to enjoy, while our lives and memories yet remain. When last it occurred, the Egyptian civilization was thriving. So, while watching lizards mate and flowers fade in your “English farden”, look to the heavens. You will be able to see Mars with naked eye, nearly the size of our moon, to the human eye. And, if you choose to “moon” the moon, and Mars as well, I hope that there is someone there to “cover” you, in a most pleasurable, and fully satisfying, manner.
