The African Protea & Creativity
Back many years ago when I was starting on this journey, when answering what my favorite flower was, I would always put orchids. Because they are my favorite growing plant. They’re interesting, have an incredible (and violent) history associated with the procuring of such plants and well, they’re unique!

And in the past, I have studied orchids. I have two growing at my house now. One just finished blooming after being dormant for two years. The other one is on its last legs and so it’s about time to get a third right now. I generally go through about half a dozen per year. I try to save all of them but often that doesn’t happen.
But the point of this short essay isn’t to speak of orchids. It’s to speak about being original in intent on presenting oneself online as an escort but also … how difficult it is to keep trying to reinvent the wheel.
Everyone nowadays will put as their favorite flower orchids. Or often one will see it. Before, I never saw it at all. But I have other flowers that I’m fond of. There are so many to choose from!
For now, though, I will also add the African protea as a favorite flower. If they’re cut and fresh, they will last in your house for months. They also look great dried. The history of the plant hasn’t been explore yet. That is next on my list of things to read!
Now … let’s see how quickly ladies start listing that flower as a perennial favorite!
